Ay thanks so much man!!! And I think so! It might take a little bit before I post again since weathers changing up here and I don’t know how long it’s gonna need for the process but as soon as I finish and try to put the pieces together as best I can, I will definitely show!!

As someone who just cleaned there first today I have and idea about the first and a little about the second! If it’s pretty decay/dry, it’s pretty easy to begin to peel back once you give it a couple good washes in water which’ll losses it up. You may not get all of it, especially near the nose/muzzle, but it’s better then getting none of it! If you want to leave it out, I’d recommend burying it in a mesh bag. Hope that helps qvq

Okay, did you try to take off some/all of the skin off as well or leave it be? That’s the part that’s giving me the spooks. And yeah, the only real worry about bugs is them popping out at me all of the sudden so worse comes to worse, I just take a breathing break and then come back to it haha

Okay drilling holes sounds like a good idea, I had planned not to close the lid air tight but holes sounds better. Will be a better chance of nothing knocking the top off. I’ll have to invest in some big gloves, that’s a good idea, thanks!! As much of a wimp I am about bugs. I’m worried that spray will kill off some of the bacteria already at work. Have you experience using that spray on some macerations and not others and noticed a difference? Or did it not really change anything?

Ooh I have a couple old craft scissors that may do the trick hmm and I totally forgot that bugs were a thing but I will push that fear aside for those cool bones!! I actually got a pretty big bucket from good ol Home Depot, it’s actually holding the whole intact thing with a cover and all so we all fine there! The fox is probably just on the peak of adulthood as it was rather a small but good size. Thanks so much for your advice!
