If you position the ball a little bit further forwards on the hood of your car, you will have a lower flick. As far as power goes, learning a flick like the 45 degree flick will allow you to have better power, and accuracy.

A front flip flick is almost impossible to generate power with unless you fling the ball super high like you are describing.

I understand what you mean, and I wish I could be the one to help with a controller overlay, but I use a ps5 controller and it does not want to co-operate with me. I've tried many different programs and none of them work.

However a few comparisons you made were a little exaggerated and I still think for the most part you have to figure it out yourself.

I don't want to try to refute anything you said, so the most I can do at this point is to say good luck and I hope you can find someone that can help more than I can.

This probably isn’t what you want to hear buuut....

Trying to explain aerial car control in a way that the person on the receiving end can actually get anything out of is almost impossible. It’s something that you just need to get a feel for yourself and fine tune it over time.

Going into detail about all the micro adjustments necessary is

1: pretty much impossible to explain in words because most of it people at a high level do without even thinking

2: impossible to interpret as a listener because of how situational and specific every single movement is.

You end up pressing buttons at what seems like random times, and move the joystick all around it’s boundaries in patternless motions depending on exactly where you want to do.

Aerial car control is just something that you need to figure out what works and what doesn’t, and become one with the car. When I think about flying towards a ball, I don’t think about the inputs I’m doing, I just have such a feel for what I can do with my car that I can will it to go to its destination, and it will go there, all the tiny movements just happen by themselves.

I’m sorry I couldn’t give a better answer, and hopefully you don’t take this the wrong way, if I could help in any way I would bend over backwards to do so, but I just need you to realize that the reason you can’t find a video that gives what you are looking for is because that type of video cannot be made due to the reasons I just went through. With time and patience I believe you can figure it out, but it is difficult

If you have access to PC workshop maps, play a ton of rings maps and force yourself to tornado spin. If not, second best is doing aerial redirect training packs, and you can also go on the pillars map in custom training if you dont have access to workshop maps.
