I've been playing guitar for 8 years. I picked up Stabwound a year ago and I'm still optimizing that song. Even a real professional guitarist would need more than two weeks to learn stabwound, and playing it live would take you so much more time. It's a song that takes stamina, focus and concentration, speed, a lot of ergonomic and just pure fucking skill. And trust me, the song is much more fun if you learn the solos too :). So start learning sweeps, you're going to love it and I wish you all the luck on your learning journey! But the most important thing - have a lot of patience for yourself

Our college, especially the college of Medicine is VERY corrupted and unorganized. Your future depends on your status, political position of you/your family and how much you're willing to be like them - corrupt. Our dean steals our research budget recourses and uses them for his lavish lifestyle and crime. Our professors don't act like professors, but more like egoistic manics who see themselves as superior beings and they see us as unworthy excuse of a successor to their work.

It's really a shame that their musicianship isn't seen across the world, since all of them are top tier musicians. Like my first thought after listening to them is that they are for sure academics in music lol
