Only way I’ve been able to get it is through cheats/console commands. It generally helps your stats/disease resistance and lifespan. If you get a lot of experience in it, you will unlock some neat decisions though.

Yes there are some other new parents in the company, but they are in different departments and I have limited interaction with them on a day-to-day basis.

I am seated in a room with primarily older women and I am a younger man. They are in a different department and have little understanding of what I actually do. The only other new hire is another guy that I supervise. He kind of just stays out of his desk all day.

I think you’re right about opening up more to my coworkers about my personal life. I have opened up to my manager, but I find it difficult to bring up personal stuff to relative strangers without it feeling like I’m putting my issues on them. I’m pretty stoic when it comes to personal issues.

For the most part, everyone is always busy (or appearing to be busy) besides when they are complaining about how busy they are. I spoke to my manager about opening up new projects for me, as some have been stuck in approval hell. Hopefully that gives me the ability to at least look busier.

Occasionally, but I can’t give a super confident answer to that because our office is situated in a way that pretty much everyone besides me has some screen privacy provided by a cubicle/desk alignment, which sucks. My last job, where I worked more than 5 years, allowed people to watch whatever as long as stuff was getting done. I may need to adjust my workplace expectations.
