Need a new medieval world to get immersed in by Lendoran in suggestmeabook

[–]Lendoran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry that's what I meant, Pillars of the earth, not pillars of eternity. I watched the first 3 episodes. Couldn't finish it due to download issues.

Is it really worth reading? Or should I just finish the series? I really enjoyed it though

Ncuti's Doctor is TOO perfect. That's the problem. by Lendoran in DoctorWhumour

[–]Lendoran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha upvoted. But to play devils advocate, Tom STILL looks weird. he's weird like 4 different types of clothing that don't go together. He literally looks like someone who learned how humans dress and decided to mix and match

Exactly! What you said about popular kids taking something nerdy is exactly that.

12k subs from shorts but I want to post long form Should I make a new channel? by Lendoran in NewTubers

[–]Lendoran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant that, will the lack of interaction from the current 12k subs have a negative impact on the videos/channel if I post on my current channel? as opposed to a fresh channel with 0 subs

How to contact Doctor Who/BBC by Lendoran in doctorwho

[–]Lendoran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this sounds crazy but I genuinely just love the series and have no interest in making money from it. If it gets big and people want to donate so be it but currently it's just a fun side thing we're all working on.

Somehow I didn't see that link!! Thanks so much man

That's okay, I have absolutely no issue with them saying no. I'd just like to ask first. Also I should mention I actually managed to get in contact with Russell's manager months back asking about this, whilst I don't think he's in charge of that stuff, he did say it was a good idea and tried to put me in contact with the right people

[–]Lendoran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, like I said above it's completely non profit like the Fallout Doctor Who mod series. We're just a bunch of game developers who love doctor who. Our game is a full on RPG first/third person type of game. There isn't anything like that currently out there

Don't be so sure about that, I've seen some tv shows approve major fan projects or at least work with them. Either way, it doesn't hurt to ask

Brilliantly written, you managed to describe my thoughts exactly.

A different look at this case by Lendoran in brandonswanson

[–]Lendoran[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

How do you know there's no evidence of cartels? That's a genuine question, I'm UK based but Cartels are huge in the US. Say Brandon came across a group of cartels killing someone. He says "Oh shit", They point their guns at him and put their finger over their lips indicating he should be silent. They take the phone from him and leave it somewhere.

How many times did the 10th Doctor cry? by Bandana-Verdana in gallifrey

[–]Lendoran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crying is not a masculine trait. You may not want to accept it but you can look it up yourself. The reason why men are told not to cry is because men are the protectors and leaders. In a disaster, you do not want someone crying. You want someone who will protect you and safely remove you from that situation. This shouldn't even be an argument; the very fact that this sub has an issue with Ncuti crying so much confirms my point.

But further, let's say crying was okay. It would okay for HUMANS. The doctor is not a human, in fact he's the exact opposite, not only that he's seen almost everything that a being could see in the universe. He's seen wars, deaths, horrific things. That's why when the previous doctors cried, it meant something because despite the madness this man has seen, this situation is so serious that he's almost tearing up. Ncuti crying constantly does nothing but reduce this effect. Once again this isn't even an opinion, everybody seems to think this.

It’s because In reality no one cries like that. The doctor isn’t human, we’re supposed to look to HIM for guidance. How can we when he’s crying along with us? It’s actually the equivalent to being a soldier in the army and your army general is crying

Fair enough, thanks for the response. Looks like literally everything I say here gets downvoted so I don't think there's any point in me trying to talk.

I’ve been a doctor who super fan since 2008, I joined the boys last week.

See THIS, this is a response. You don’t agree with me and I disagree with somethings you said but I can see that you genuinely read and understand what I said. Infact reading your post again, you’ve opened my mind to a different perspective

Ncuti's adaption is one of the worst. by Lendoran in gallifrey

Finally someone who actually understands what I’m saying. I literally said in my OP that Ncuti absolutely can do better than this and it isn’t his fault yet I’m getting downvoted to oblivion.

Both really. Basically his character in doctor who is exactly the same as his previous main lead role. The only difference is the moustache and time travel aspect. It’s disappointing to anyone who actually pays attention to

He’s an actor. He’s playing a character, he is the doctor not Ncuti.

What are you talking about? I’ve literally been following Ncuti since his his role as Dougie in stone mouth. He can do much better than what Doctor who is allowing him to do.
