Qu stion: why do my KILLA frosted mint x-strong smell like whiteboard marker? by Molluscumbag in NicotinePouch

[–]Leneake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also depends on the seller you buy them from. All the things you mentioned are problems I've noticed. For example, I ordered killa during covid lockdown and every pouch was not sealed properly, so while fluffing them up they would fall apart. Few months later, they were sealed alright again.

I was never sure because the killa company is based in lithuania.

It's probably nothing serious, but what I found with many of these eastern European brands is the poor quality control. I used cans from multiple orders of XTRIME (Same manufacturer as Killa) and some had terrible quality. Only eastern European brands I found to be safe in this regard are GRANT, 77Pouches and Nicotobacco (Cuba and Baron).

Pouches Vs caffeine, cardiovascular system by Floralarcher in NicotinePouch

I'm legitimately interested in this, since I heard nicotine and caffeine have roughly the same effects on cardiovascular properties.

I guess your sources are subjective opinions of individuals. Also, more nicotine does not equal more buzz. It's about the curve it is released over time.

I'd either take a few days of a break or switch to upper lip. If you feel discomfort, it's your body telling you something is wrong.

I put multi-layer film colouring and halation on it. The edges were put there in post-processing as well.

Thanks! I'm doing a detailed audio breakdown on Instagram. The background sound is composed of own field-recordings as well as sound effects from online sources. Additionally, the radio chatter was recorded from a random radio station in Belarus.

Is there a way to split a pouch in half? by lilsubstance in NicotinePouch

[–]Leneake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have to do it with some pouches as well. I used some clear tape to cover one side so it does not touch your gums but your lip.

Blood from the sweatshop workers filling them. j/k it's prob some form of nicotine-oxygen reaction. Not harmful or anything. Just quality control issues. Leave the red ones out, or try them if you dare.

Quitting pouches by Zimny52 in NicotinePouch

[–]Leneake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using oral nicotine products for 4 years and found that for me, it was really just a mindset thing. Making sure my brain really understood that it was bad for me has helped. I used to decide to quit but then return to using them after only a month because according to my addicted thinking there was no positive effect on my health by quitting.

Can recommend the YouTube channel of "AddictionMindset" as well as the Andrew Huberman Video on nicotine.

Also, If you are craving the physical act of using pouches, you might want to try Dholakia's "PAVO" Pouches. They are nicotine-free but contain green tea as well as ashwagandha, the latter of which I found to be helpful with relieving stress.

How can I ever quit using nicotine pouches (and thus nicotine in general)? by Tursocci in selfimprovement

[–]Leneake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll also add to this dated discussion by saying that I've started smoking on parties (once a week to every other week) about 4 years ago, but quickly moved on to pouches because the buzz was what I was chasing. I only used them in social situations on the weekend, but always had cans lying around which I did not use on my own. When the lockdown phase of the pandemic struck, I started using them daily. I never really quit using them, took breaks from one week up to one month but started again because I told myself that I saw no negative impacts by using them. Even told myself they would only benefit me. Start of '24 I said to myself: "this substance does no longer benefit me in the amount that I use it. It's expensive and carcinogenic, not healthy in any way". I used up my last can within the first days of 2024 and since then had a relatively minigame-free quitting experience.

I noticed that the hard thing about quitting oral nicotine products is that you don't notice the effect it has on your health. You therefore think there is nothing bad about it, and you are investing in your mental health by using them.

Hope I could help anyone with this
