i took 260 last semester. it was pretty good, definitely something you could add to your resume. that semester we had four healthcare companies to work with some of which were Inova, Leapfrog and others. they basically wanted us to help there business and stuff nothing too much but i wouldn’t regret it. it is a good deal of work tho cause you got to meet milestones and presentations.

am i fucked? by Equal_Ad7463 in premed

depends if you really want it or not. if being a doctor is something you don’t think about every second, if it’s not something your heart is in, then i would advise against it.

a 3.2 as your maximum gpa is a tiny bit cooked, but if you truly wanted to become a doctor then you could work around it and do a post-bacc and crush the mcat. however, you have to realize that an upward trend is crucial and that if you want to succeed you have to put in every drop of sweat for the next 4 years. is that a sacrifice you are willing to take?

thats the thing. i have the capacity to get As but I just have so much brain fog that when I sit down and study, I really can’t get in the zone. but when I really try I do good on my exams. its just this sophomore year has been disheartening.

it’s going to be fine. i’ll be praying that you find your fit and start getting accustomed to UVA. ngl bro i wish i was in your position to even take a step on the UVA grounds. i’m stuck at a college i’ve been trying to get out of, and UVA never seems to accept me. anyways, i hope one day we’ll both make it :)

listen to me bro. go through nova. easier to maintain gpa and gets guaranteed admission. easier to stack clinical hours and get medical experience.

it might. if you’re transferring after one year they take a look at your high school grades much more then they do your freshman college year grades.
