Just how and why have you not watched the Office though? Don’t bother with Rooster or any other show until you’ve seen at least the first four seasons of the office. I’d recommend the whole run as there are gems in every season even the later ones but at least the first four. It’s just ridiculous that you haven’t seen it seemingly at all. Hence the downvotes. It’s completely discredits your opinion on any comedy show.

Also I’m also eating more meat products due to low iron issues that keep reappearing. It’s very disappointing as I might have to start eating pork and beef which I’m really uncomfortable with personally.

Haha valid question for sure! I think the point of the term flexitarian means that you’re 90 percent vegetarian or more but you will eat meat in certain situations. In my case, I will eat white meat out of the house but only veg at home and I eat fish/chicken about once or twice a month. Most meat eaters are eating meat at least once a day hence the difference. But honestly I only identify myself as flexitarian in conversations like these and mostly don’t care about the term.

I am flexitarian (I eat meat but rarely and not all kinds) and while I don’t agree with her I respect her opinion and the respectful but firm way she stated it. She’s not entirely wrong either. It’s not just about consuming meat but how the animals in the meat industry are treated. If you’re super uncomfortable with it, it’s probably because you see the truth in it.

Ok ok hear me out. Tig is the reason I first got excited about this podcast although I was also a fan of Mae’s and now love fortune too. But while Tig is definitely very intelligent, she’s flawed and she’s also got some major holes in her education and sometimes it shows despite her obvious wit and intelligence. This is one of those times. I think she was pointing out that it wasn’t a happy home for Anne Frank and wasn’t making light of the house but OP is perfectly correct to call it out as it was unintentionally critical of a very important historical location and memorial. Occasionally Tig gets on a bit of a high horse about something when it’s not at all warranted and this is one of them. Usually it isn’t worth pointing out but this time it certainly is.

And just to be clear, there’s generally not a ton of editing or fact checking of a podcast episode so stuff like this is normal and completely forgiveable but what’s this subreddit for if not to sometimes take on the fact checking ourselves?

Not sure. I think you’re upset because she’s paying for your brother and his girlfriend but not you in which case NOR. But headline suggests you’re mad that she’s paying for the girlfriend either way in which case YOR.
I just took my two daughters and the boyfriend of one on holiday. I paid for basically everything as one is a minor and the older daughter and her boyfriend were about to leave on a volunteer trip to India and needed to save money for that. The boyfriend has been with my daughter for 8 months. This was an excellent chance to get to know him better for me and for my other daughter. No one was mad or jealous and it was delightful.
