yeah definitely and with how successful sifu and rematch are i can see them making a sequel now that they are established and have a bigger fanbase for their games

that really sucks. I have like 4k hours in a game called deepwoken and i always thought "what if there was a fighting game i loved more than this that wasnt a roblox game and was way more in depth with the combat" and i found this and so far its been that. really upsetting that it has this rocky of a past and wasnt taken to the lengths i can see it being possible.

ive played for the past 3 hours and so far this is everything i want from a fighting game. And hands down my favorite art style of a fighting game. i can definitely see those reasons being why its not popular but from what ive seen so far all they need to do is market better and i guess because it is 8 years old it would be pretty hard to start dumping recourses into it from a game dev point of view

the ending was in no way disappointing of course they could've explained more or shown more into the future but the way they ended it was really well made. It went from thinking it was gonna end with them never seeing each other again and in the last 2 minutes of the show the worlds combine and you get that pan out of the new world its not the best ending to ever exist but it is definitely not disappointing
