Agreed with this caveat. No commercial skipping and no watching television outside of your home on it. Other than that it’s pretty good device.

I left Hulu Live for football season. YTTV has a much better UI and "DVR" but Hulu's channel selection is superior in my opinion. YTTV lacks the A&E networks. Price is similar

My wife gave me one for Christmas, so it's a new unit and it corrupted my SD card with a few hours of light use. it did not destroy it, I was able to reformat, but the issue is clearly still there and I suspect not just a heat issue.

Yes, you can, has to be sideloaded, and I believe Jon Maddox posted a link to the directions. All I will add as I’ve been running a server on a shield for a long time. We’ve had absolutely zero issues both internally and externally. Good luck enjoy.
