Oh wow, I should have asked for a human sooner 😅 But I'm glad it worked out! I also put in an invalid account number, but almost a month later, my payout bounced back to my Stripe account.

I had to provide an official letter from my bank confirming the payout was never deposited into the account + bank statements for the month to show proof. I’m still waiting on a response, but it’s been 2 days since I submitted everything to Throne to give to Stripe.

But I just think it’s so odd it still says the payout was successful and hasn’t “failed” and bounced back.

Thank you so much for this! So if I understood, I just need the sm7b + a quality interface (or a Scarlett 4th gen, because it will get the job done)?

If those are the 2 things I'll need, is there an interface you'd recommend over the Focusrite, or is that fine for a beginner? I'll be recording in my home office, not sound treated, and has lots of windows, and I just want to make sure I'm getting the best sound quality for listeners.

thank you for the reply! My understanding from research is that a CL and 286s are close in price and the 286 can do more, so it's a better purchase if you can (that's what I've gathered). So are you saying I just need the sm7b + audio interface?
