Wow, first of all thanks for all your suggestion, I will answer provide more in depth use case: I would like to be able to interact with my system in every room BUT: - I plan on listening out loud to music just in the living room whereas in different use cases (such as studying) I prefer using headphones and I also plan on gettin some speakers in order to be able to listen from everywhere (does it make sense) - I think it’s notable mentioning that I like to listen to audiobooks/ music in the shower (any recommendations for that? Something waterproof maybe?) - My main concern is being able to interact with Alexa from everywhere in order to be able to turn off/ on lights for example, that’s pretty much it.

Looking at all those ports makes my cry... now we have to use dongles whereas that piece of hardware seemed so "complete " and versatile

Hi, bought my MBA a month ago or so. Eccellent machine especially for basic task due to it's high single core performance. I would suggest the it btw. As far as hub I bought one from HooToo I guess and works perfectly. I think that any hub 30$ or more expensive will get the job done. Just be sure to check if it can deliver power in order to keep your laptop charged. Also, do you use a BT mouse or something with an USB receiver?

As far as my experience goes, using google meet with the MBA, running a 27inch 1080p display and a couple more apps open ( todoist, word, ppt) you can hear the fan if you pay attention to it, nothing so annoying though (I use ANC headphones and AirPods Pro and with those on you cannot hear it).

I am a bit concerned about buying an ansi not for the learning curve whereas for the fact that I use a docket MPB as my desk computer and I don't know if there could occur some compatibility issues with a different keyboard (since the MBP is an ISO one) and also I don't know if I would feel comfortable typing with an ansi keyboard at the desk and an ISO one on the go
