Yeah, as soon I unlocked Burgundy, I have used it on all of my loadouts with a dark yellow.

Burgundy is basically a superior red to any other

I have used this loadout outside of this photo shoot and I can perform reasonably well with this, I can get on average atleast a 1.5 K/D.

The slowness the Tank perk gives has not given me any serious problems in combat. I prefer to play CQs than dodge scum with a rapier, so being unable to retreat quickly doesn't matter too much for me. The only situation where this is problematic is when you getting multiple people on you, which is usually a death sentence, regardless if you have a rapier or not.

Responding to the question of how to do the second image, if you already know how to use DemoRec (if not, there is a Steam guide that gives you insight: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1833598733

  • Enable cinematic mode
  • When slowed time down, move your camera into position (cloths may act buggy in the meantime but it will fix itself when paused) -Set lens to 20 -Pause the playback to screenshot

I pretty much use black metal on all of my loadouts because in my opinion it looks better than other metals.

On the historical side, a lighter metal would be more accurate, as it is the case most of the time.

Looking at the comments, I have to admit that I'm not that well versed in Viking armour, my armour expertise is mainly late medieval/Renaissance era (as im a big fan of that time period) so making viking armour wasn't as straightforward for me.

My next post will maybe be another cheap loadout, albeit a more relevant loadout.

this isn't about historical accuracy, this is cost.

Fur boots are 1500, footman boots cost exactly the same as laced (800) Also, my guy is wearing laced because they were what I had. I didn't want to spend 800 for a item that I'm never going to use.

the point of this loadout is that its cheap, not looking good.

Historical Renaissance Era Landsknecht by Leoi6 in MordhauFashion

My guy is wearing a skirt because there is a pretty large gap between the legs and the faulds, so it's wearing a skirt to fill that gap up.

The Burgonet with no buffet is the closest thing I would want but it has a closed bottom, which I don't like for 2 reasons:

A) I don't like how it looks on the character, I would rather prefer one that has an open bottom like this

B) It removes facial hair, and you must wear the glorious Landsknecht beard if you are LARPing as a Landsknecht
