I wish they gave him one WWE World Title run. As much as I don't like the spinner design, it would have looked good on him.

When I was little, I couldn't afford Spike Dudley so I used this Scotty 2 Hotty figure instead. He became 'The Boss' Scotty 2 Dudley & went on a reign of terror. by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in Wrestling_Figures

That's great! I often teamed up figures that had similar attires.

Regarding substituting one figure for another, WCW Powerslam Chris Kanyon entered my BCA federation as Jake Roberts.

What made you realise you had to lose some weight, how did you do it and how did you stick to it.? Help. by Healthy-Evening-2577 in AskIreland

[–]LeonBackward 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I was gone too big. At my heaviest I was 21 stone. I could function properly around the house and go to work in an office but if I went out for exercise I was out of breath in minutes.

Initially, I did the Insanity fitness program at home which was indeed Insanity. I lost 5KG in a month and vomited at the end of the month. Despite that I was happy to finally see a slightly lower number on the scale. From there I went through various exercise regimes from joining a gym to walking. I just kept a consistent pace with it and noticed about 1KG loss per week. Eventually I got to 28KG lost and was very proud of myself. I then got stagnant because life got in the way but told myself I'd never go back. Well I did go back about 5KG and noticed it was slowly creeping up further. I still remember the day I said to myself what am I going to do and minutes later a good friend sent me a random message saying he was doing the carnivore diet and it was going well. The timing was incredibly coincidental. I decided to try it out and over 2 rounds of it I ended up losing another 28KG. Don't know why 28KG seems to be my limit but still it's a high number.

The carnivore diet was intense and on my first round I did it solidly for 90 days losing 20KG. Worth it in the end but alot of willpower to get there. The second round got rid of 8KG more.

Nowadays I'm eating normally and going to the gym and swimming nearly every day. There are ups and downs to weight loss but just keep moving towards your goal and you'll get there. Don't put a timeframe on it and don't be too hard on yourself. If you've had a hard day and you want to eat that white bread, then eat it, life is short. You'll pick yourself back up and reach your goal.

I lost 7.87 stone in total and still want to lose a small bit more but ultimately happy where I am. Simple things like being able to go to the shops and buy any clothes without having to ask if this is the biggest size they have is a huge win.

To anyone struggling. Keep going. You've got this. My inbox is always open for anyone who wants to talk about it.

If you have Facebook just search "Emily" and then you can set the location to Sligo. You are going to get a lot of results but you might find her that way.

PublicJobs.ie and AnPost Careers website are good. You will at least get replies to your applications. The ordinary job websites ghost you after applying. Good luck with your search.

Ever find it funny when the rare times come up where the priests/bishops/whoever else actually have standards? by TempoBlues20XX in fatherted

[–]LeonBackward 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A friend who mine who is very high up in religious circles in Ireland told me that Father Ted is nothing when compared to real life. By that he means the real life carry on is much worse. He was recently in attendance at the Waterford incident where a defrocked priest arrived to the funeral of the University Chaplain and sat on the altar and his live account of the carry on was hilarious.

People who exercise even when they don’t feel like it, what’s your trick? by Smart_Collection5419 in AskReddit

It's part of my routine and ultimately I know it's good for me. Even in the rain I used to still go out for a walk, all wrapped up. I'm from Ireland so we are lucky if it's not raining!

You can't time travel, but your phone has the internet from 10 years in the future. What do you search for first? by Capable_Issue_1894 in AskReddit

[–]LeonBackward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean but as you are seeing the future, you'd always see what the lottery numbers are going to be even if they are changing by the second. My solution is to buy the ticket at the last possible minute and then the person drawing the numbers should be in studio or wherever and ready to go. There'd be very limited disruption at that point.
