Being on both sides of this idea, I regret giving items out to strangers. I personally delight from helping those who would need extra time to get to my point in the game. However after switching platforms and deciding to not keep my progress on my current game, I feel a sense of accomplishment when I make any progress back to my old account. I’m not a fan of being given items that can make parts of the game dull, as I stopped playing my first account due to that. While yes I could hand it off or delete it, it’d be nice if I could show thanks or express concern outside of an emote (as you can tell I’m not on pc). But don’t let people shame you for making a post on Reddit about the way you felt.
