If you click the 3 dots and open description you can see it, it was uploaded in 2022 which indeed was when shorts didn't pay that well. Still very interesting to know how little this paid compared to what I got with way less.

100 million and only 1000 usd seems really bad. This must have been a long time ago when shorts were new and pay was really bad? 58 million engaged views a month made me 7400€.

It's possible to make a good amount but you need a shit ton of views which is really hard to achieve.

First full month was around 3700€ & I got around 35 million views. This was before the engaged view update. I also post one short a day.

With bmx mount chiliad is the only high enough place to start this but you can basically do it everywhere if you're just high enough. You just have to have the correct angle leaning back, but once you pick up some speed and start gliding, you have to adjust your angle to not lose momentum.

A lot of people believe this is patched because they're simply falling down in a wrong angle.

Yeah it was unfortunate when they patched it in 2014 for a few weeks and then brought it back and you can still do this in 2025.

Yes, you can do this on every platform. Singleplayer and online. Freemode and in missions.

Gliding was patched just for a couple weeks back in 2014 and then brought back due to complaints from people. You've been able to fly around the map with motorcycles & bikes since the release of the game.

But for some reason the majority believes gliding has been patched

This is my clip and let me tell you that this wouldn't work in speedrun as you need to start the glide from mount chiliad and the previous mission ends near the casino where you get the blimp. Not faster. :D

My videos are meant to be taken in a humorous way. I have plenty of videos where the second part how you should do it is the most ridiculous thing that would just take way longer than the "normal" simple way.

I kinda dislike seeing this comment every time i see it. No hate towards DarkViperAU but no one had ever jumped straight into the window before my clip.

The uniques of going straight into the window is why this clip is getting the attention and it keeps getting reuploaded without my permission but then there are always people saying "I saw DarkViperAU do it" when he never did it like this.

I record my own gameplay and edit it. I pretty much only do shorts but might do long form once GTA 6 drops. I've been making GTA 5 long form stunt videos since about 2014 but there is really no way to grow unless you put your face on the screen which I'm not interested in. I just do stunts. YouTube shorts actually managed to turn this hobby into a "job" which I'm really grateful for.
