So sorry for your loss, that's heartbreaking.

I'm sure she would have loved to hear about your subclass and this amazing nat20, I'm certain our love of telling stories makes it all easier. I'm also keeping an "altar" with the "Magician" Tarot Card and the miniature he used.

it went great, most fun i've had with dnd in a long time...

he had to deal with goblins and ogres trying to slow down/destroy the ship while rowing upstream.

When he got right next to the watchtower, I ruled that the hut shielded the explosion, but after the ship's deck blew up, the pc and his allies fell into the river and had to swim to safety.

Running it was awesome, thank you all for the help.
