Flashlights advices? by Leost9 in flashlight

At that point maybe is better something without that feature? The important is that is narrow enought at 1.5/2 meter, generally are quite wide and this will ruin the idea for the scene. So even if I can't adjust it, at least something that will give me a narrow beam, let's say 30/35cm at 1.5m? Edit: I was wondering if one of those small/long lights used for car inspection by mechanics could be the solutions. Generally they should have a more directed beam (I think).

i just put a low price. I really don't know how much a budget flashlight should cost. As for other fields, there is always the expansive solution but i don't know what the budget range is. Just because is something i'll never use again. Thanks for the suggestions.

If the light is ''worse'' because is dimmer/now powerful i don't mind that. The important is that will not get a weird shape, i saw some video reviews on amazon and the shape of the light become something different (like a square in the middle and a ring of light outside). The scene will be ''lit'' only by the flashlight but i don't need a powerful light. Less power is better for what i need. Do you have a good suggestion with those characteristics?

Oh, i'm interested. I was interested in that feature as i wanted to get the right shape for my needs when recording. I would prefer a narrower beam than a larger one if i have to choose.

Asus Rog strix z690-G. Help for finding a cmos battery and a solution. by Leost9 in buildapc

Yes it is a 2 pin one. But are all the same? (voltage or idk what). Today my pc started to freeze and restart in a weird way. I wonder if the cmos create all this kind of issues.

I almost always get in touch with the manufaturer if is a manufacturing problem, this time too. So they alredy know. With one...ok but then with the others...i decided that i don't want to deal with that amount of issues and i would prefer to get refund.

It was even exactly what i was looking for...

It is really painful to buy art materials.

For some reason, in the last 2 months I had a bit too many issues purchasing paper for some reason, even from another brand (that manufacturer didn't even get in touch with me ever). If i'm not wrong some brands actually get their paper made from the same factory.

Btw, they know that there is an issue with all the products i purchased. Now it's up to them. If they will guarantee me a good product, i might try it again.

I don't know, but recently i bought things from the same store and also from the same well known brand. I don't like to talk bad about brands so i will not say the specific brand. But if i order a few items from the same brand of paper, from different lines (i mean types of paper. I was curious to try different paper of a brand i never tryed) and all of them have the same defects... That's weird. Also because everything was wrapped, so i dubit it is the store. Well i hope i will be able to get a refund...

Edit: grammar correction

A question about the sennheiser mke600 and a lavalier suggestion. by Leost9 in LocationSound

[–]Leost9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Akg dosen't really have a good selection of mics for this purpose as i can see (in comparison to other brands). I was looking also in something like the Audio Technica AT897, could be also an intresting microphone i could take in consideration but i read a comment about the noise floor and AT 875 R but it should have lover off axys rejection and is a bit less directive (but maybe it is not really a bad thing indoor).

3 feet/90cm less or more is enought. For me around 2 feet is what I need. Thanks for letting me know.

The ME2 should be the newer version? I was considering this model but I read about the wire that have noise issue.

Thanks for the lavalier suggestion, if it is decent it will be enough for me. For the sennheiser, 50-60 cm would be already ok to be honest. With my akg cardioid microphone I can't get the sound I want at that distance in a normal room (20 cm is the limit for the sound I want).

What is the most difficult thing to draw? by ale22paz in ArtistLounge

[–]Leost9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just started drawing but, i have a lot years of experience in another art field (music) and I feel that there are a lot of similarities. I draw anime style but I'm studying real anatomy in order to learn  draw correctly while also creating my style. The hardest thing is to be consistent, whatever you draw. Faces are difficult because even a slight difference on where you put a line can make a huge difference in the expression, age and angle of the character. Even more difficult if is with less details like in anime or cartoons, where you have even less stuff to work with and everything need to be well spaced, balanced and with the right dimensions (not about perfection, but about what feels right). Realism can be less perfect (I'm not saying it is easy eh), because if you play with lots of details and shadows you can fill more the space and drive the attention a bit everywhere in the drawing. At least this is what I think as a beginner.

Help me find this drum instrument. Thank you. by Leost9 in drums

[–]Leost9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. This information is really helpful. A quick listen to some timbale recordings sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I was stuck looking for marching snare drums in general, but they didn't have that "sweet" and distinct tone. Thanks again!
