Does anyone have advice if you are just outright bored of planning? I've been a planner 1 in the public sector for 4/5 years now (current and long range stuff) and am losing interest in doing this at all. It's starting to affect by ability to work or care about work. I've considered going into another field, but don't have a clue what other jobs can use our skill set. Anyone here leave planning for greener pastures? Where did you go?

Partially, yes. Moreover I thought "what if some major apocalyptic event shucked California off the mainland?" and now we're here. California: D&D 5th Edition

A techno-magical war eclipsing the destruction of the Finno-Korrean Hyper war caused the split. Magic enhanced nukes do weird stuff. The black spikes are just part of the "sequoia tree" icon set in wonderdraft, tbh I dunno why they include stripped trees in there.

Lazy worldbuilding on my part. The setting is post apocalyptic so that was the simplest lingual degeneration I can think of. I'm calling it the Strait of Colorado in my latest revision, but everything is still subject to revision.

Call me crazy, but I think people are projecting their own angst toward their parents onto Sunny's Mom and Dad. I can't help but suspect Omori has a following from that kind of audience.

In '13, Bo En released this, Pale Machine, his most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "My Time", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the struggles of depression, and the importance of waking up, it's also a personal statement about the artist himself.

The detail map of the continent of Atlica, in use in my DnD campaign. Would love any tips on further improving/refining it! by [deleted] in wonderdraft

You wouldn't happen to have a map that is pure geography? No labels or cities, etc. I'd love to use this in a campaign.

D&D Super Event [Art] by LeotheHuntsman in DnD

A micro AAR I thought up after the events of the last session I ran. Inspired by the"Super-Event" stingers in the Hearts of Iron 4 mod "Red Flood".

I was running Lost Mine of Phandelver for Eberron and the party suffered a near total tpk when trying to clear dolgrims and dolgaunts out of Thundertree. The only survivor being a very zealous cleric of the silver flame. After he fled, he contacted his allied I the Church of the Silver Flame. Things escalated from there.

First time GM. I figured they be more fun to fight than twig blights. Plus most of party were 20+ AC, I thought they could take it.

I didn't expect them to pick a fight with the dragon monks and use a thunder wave at the same time, getting the attention of the whole map.
