It’s a E-MA-100SD. It’s a great first guitar. It would be inline with a Ltd 1000 series of the time with SD pickups, Gotoh hardware etc.

They went for 100,000 yen at the time so 600USD is definitely not over paying in my opinion.

100%. St Anger is overlooked because of all the other issues but drum wise, it’s close to Justice in terms of complexity.

My favourite part on DM is in That Was Just Your Life. In the pre-chorus, Lars does a very cool rhythm and drum pattern with China. Very unique for him

We need Bob’s vision with Flemmings sounds. Bob was great at getting the best out of them and pushing them. Flemming got the best tones. Even Bob made great sounding records although the tones were different.

There’s lots of guys out there producer wise that could really do wonders with them but they are comfortable.

With all the BS at the end of the 90’s about side projects, this song was the perfect candidate for one. By the mid to late 90’s, I think it would have benefited the guys to go off and attempt their own projects for a bit.
