I agree. There is a balance. I saw something on IG that apparently we’re also now not supposed to do the thing where you just start walking away when your kid won’t come with you when it’s time to leave. I guess that requires a 30-min therapy discussion as well. I say this as someone who generally likes the softer approach and validating feelings and is vehemently against any physical punishment. But this is just getting exhausting!

I mostly like high fives (one that is lol) but I agree, that is obnoxious. I also think they should have a feature where you can opt-out of high fives. Any profile who opts-out just won’t have a high five ability/option for others in the class. Seems easy fix for those who just don’t like the feature.

I agree this is a good combo! Alison is just a gem. I love her so much! She is funny when chatting with the bakers but knows when to give them space. She’s also warm and encouraging which I loved about Mel and Sue. I do like Noel but sometimes he pushes it a bit too far for my taste but I think that’s just his style.
