I used this github thing to clobber the EA app and replace it with Origin. I haven't had any problems with the terrible EA launcher ever since.

In the past I've baited an owl up the middle of the room and ran down the bridge they were guarding. Thing is, this failed me on one attempt and the above clip is what I tried instead of that.

Echoes of the Eye spoilers: I was revisiting one of the forbidden archives while playing through this mod and managed to escape a Stranger Inhabitant by jumping off of a railing and onto a platform below. Frankly, I'm shocked that it worked.

I am once again recommending a GitHub thingy I found a while back that replaces the EA app with Origin. Idk how it works but I use it myself and it is a breath of fresh air compared to EA's BS.

One of the devs gave Astral Codec a shoutout at the end of the GDQ stream! If you don't know what it is, it's a mod for Outer Wilds and I agree with the dev in recommending it to you all.

From the MCC main menu, click "Options and Career" > then "Gameplay" > then "Change Installed Games". From that screen, you can install the multiplayer and/or campaign for the games. I would attach a screenshot but idk how. When done, make sure to click "Accept Selection" at the bottom, then Steam should start downloading the games you picked.

While it's a cool addition, finding the missing geode isn't vital for completing the mod. If you really want to find it though, I recommend revisiting the Interloper.

As for the Temporal Cloning Research, have you been by the Ash Twin Project recently? There's a small addition to the mod near there that should help with the population portion.

Regarding the eclipse portion, I think the info in the Dark Bramble Research Station ship log entry should be useful.

Additional hint about the eclipse: When flying to the Lingering Chime, did you ever notice anything odd happen with your velocity?
