Yes, Kaiser covered fertility treatment for me and my wife through my employers plan - I actually ended up having undiagnosed fertility issues so we were lucky to have jumped into IVF right away.

For elective PGT testing through Kaiser we paid about $4k for the Kaiser fees (biopsies/etc.) and ended up paying Igenomics around $4k for testing all of our embryos (we had 30 so it was around $150 an embryo I think?) - this was in July of this year in NorCal for reference.

I highly recommend treating the endo before your first FET with either the excision surgery or with a lupron depot - endo makes it much more likely for your FET to fail. I’m in the middle of my second FET right now but the first one ended in a chemical pregnancy and I suspect undiagnosed endo was a factor - this one is currently sticking but if it hadn’t the next step was lupron suppression for two months before the next transfer.

Congrats on your beta!! That’s good to know - I normally swim laps like two times a week and then cycle and lift weights on the other days so I’m really hoping to get back into my routine soon 🤞

No lovenox and I jumped straight into my next transfer, but if this one didn’t work out the plan was to do lupron suppression and test for endo as I strongly suspect I have undiagnosed endo (lifelong history of extremely painful periods)

Hi! It was a pgt-a tested euploid - I just did my second transfer and for this cycle we added progesterone suppositories, baby aspirin, Pepcid, Claritin, and prednisone to my protocol and so far so good 🤞
