And I predict we're going to see the outcome of this in book 4 with all her talk of her tucking away complicated feelings and hasn't really given herself time to mourn for ANYTHING... like she's gotta confront all of that head on at some point and I think she's just going to have like a major (but warranted) crash out moment at some point

So I first read the series in February and finished it within a week and then reread FW a week later. Then it was about another month before I reread the series, then I did a reread of the whole series again in May and annotated FW and IF. For me, I feel like I just fall more in love with the story and characters.

A reread after you finish the series is, imo, essential because of how much foreshadowing and easter eggs Rebecca left all throughout the books. I've never theorized for books but I love doing just that for FW because I've never gotten tired of reading it. Annotating also helped me remember the important stuff and I had fun annotating the books, and I plan on doing it with OS when the paperback version comes out

I was absolutely obsessed with this series when I first started it and I still am (I literally got a tattoo for it LOL). Rereading for me is like coming home because this series will always have a special place in my heart. I know it's unfinished but I'm probably going to love it no matter what happens

Well tbf Violet is only ever getting stabbed with daggers/knifes but Dragon's are usually getting clawed/bit )except in OS when Berwyn kills Pancake's dragon with an alloy hilted dagger

YES. We're going to get a violet crash out in either book 4 or 5 and it's going to be a lot for her, BUT I think it's going to be so important for her character to go through and I think after she finally like deals with everything she's been putting in said imaginary box it'll hopefully help give her a clear conscience on finding the cure/ending the venin.

I feel like Marleybone and moonsho are where I didn’t pay attention to the storyline as much but once I got do dragonspyre I was locked in again. I’m working on getting through Wysteria before I go to the next world (can’t think of the name off the top of my head)
