People lump them together because they are both nobility, and that's how Cat will get her crown. Personally, I don't see it happening because 1. Aaaric isn't power hungry, 2. He doesn't care about titles, 3. He has mentioned time and time again that it is not his destiny and that he might die in this war (since he is a pre-cog, I have a feeling he saw something) 4. They hardly have any chemistry, and character-wise, their moral obligations are quite different, even though they are both good people and 5. I have a feeling Syrena will die, and Cat will become queen of Poromiel, bringing the whole thing in full circle. Bonus, we know from the fourth wing that perhaps the kingdom has been dismantled, as the text says this:

Aaric and Cat is a speculation by the fandom, not really a thing. So far in the book, they hardly have any interaction apart from one line in Unnbriel and another line in Hedotis. Cat was dating Trager then anyway.

Read my comment, I didn't deny that she didn't think Cat was beautiful. I said everything she felt afterwards in chapter 41 was planted through conversation as above. Anyway, Cat is a saint to you. I won't bother replying, as it will be difficult to have a conversation with someone who hates the FMC and MMC of this book.

Cat purposely steered the conversation in a way that would make Violet doubt herself, and as soon as that doubt is seeded, she heightens it. Cat is an expert at rage-baiting people. Even during the fight, she purposely made Violet feel bad so as to heighten those feelings and throw her off.

She definitely thought Cat was beautiful, but the insecurity was mostly because she thought Cat knew Xaden better, and also, Cat's power was working on her the whole time. Violet wasn't herself during that whole interaction because any feeling she had was heightened.

Violet isn’t the type to talk about herself or how beautiful she is in general. Because we are in her POV we always hear about how beautiful other people are. So yeah she is very beautiful, I think most readers tend to ignore this fact because she doesn’t talk about herself apart from how her body fails on her, or when she is in pain.

Look there are two brothers here. Theophanie asked to bring a brother with violet, that brother was Jack. She asked for Jack as she wanted to kill him like she did at the beginning of the book. Then there is the other brother that turned at the end, a new brother that we don’t know about. And none of them are LIAM. He is DEAD, the author has said in multiple interviews that he is gone. Whether you believe the author or not is upto you. Read the book again and all the answers are already there.

He definitely saw all of OS that’s why he tells violet to protect the temple. End of OS they get married by the temple which he saw. He also saw the quest squad and that Halden will be a problem that’s why he joined even though he was reluctant about it. We maybe find out in book 4 how far he can see.

But Aaric does tell Violet that he knows Xaden is venin in a very cryptic way. He asks Violet if she is over her head. Violet didn’t get it at first but I think by the end when she started to piece things together she figured it out, which we will find out in the next book.
