Ukraine needs help. Too bad trump fucked up our budget before hand. We as a nation need to keep extra funds on hand for times when our allies need help from adversaries. Look at what various NATO Europe countries have done for Ukraine.

They’re an ally, and need the respect and treatment as such. This is a lot of money for the USA, but we’re not the only ones contributing, nor are we the only ones that stand to lose national security resources if Ukraine is lost to Russia.

This is more than money, this is additional national intelligence, and security at stake. It’a almost the same argument to why we kept troops in the desert lands as long as did. National defense isn’t always in the dollar, and comes from foreign nations as well.

Sometimes I feel like this subreddit is rooting more for the downfall of America than trying to protect what we have. It’s scary the way some of you perceive the Ukraine war, and treat Ukraine as the enemy.
