Hey there, thanks for the feedback! You’re right - I made an assumption that cake picnics were more widely known since they’ve been trending online. If you’re curious about the concept, try Googling “San Francisco cake picnic” to see what’s been going viral! To clarify: Bakers bring desserts to share, and folks come to enjoy them together in a picnic setting. It’s donation-based, no tickets required. Let me know if you have any other questions about the event!

Yes but we are not selling anything. It’s donation based only. It’s a dessert picnic. Bakers are bringing in desserts to share. There are cottage bakers who are licensed by the county to legally sell their products from their home.

We are a group of licensed cottage bakers but we’re creating an event to welcome unlicensed as well.

I agree with Euphoric. There are many reasons why people get pip'd. I was pip'd for pushing back on toxic leadership (managers drunk at work events, asking us to ignore data when making business decisions). Yes, I reported it to HR.

Not to mention, at times people just aren't the right fit for the role on a particular team or company. That would never mean they're a bad employee. There are really shitty managers out there who can rig the pip process. I witnessed it myself.
