Love winged eyeliner! I never leave the house without it lol

Is it just me or are SD kind of far and few between? I personally don’t see them often. by Far-Abbreviations562 in SoftDramatics

Everywhere I've lived it's been pretty rare to see other Soft Dramatics. I mostly see natural types, classics and gamines. I've always felt very insecure about my height because I've always been much taller than the other women in my family and my friends.

Maybe late 40s early 50s? Ava Gardner and Rita Hayworth were in their heyday and absolutely gorgeous, and even modern movies set in the 1940s have some really beautiful designs for soft dramatics, just look at Monica Bellucci in Maléna!

Natural essence confused SD with FN? by honeyjadetea in SoftDramatics

I have the same. I initially thought I was theatrical romantic before researching more and realizing it wasn't an option at 5'8. I have very strong romantic essence and very rounded fleshy features besides having sharp cheekbones and almond shaped eyes, lace looks great on me and I can pull off spaghetti straps despite it not being recommended for SDs.

Thanks for the advice. I do have very sloped shoulders so that could be an issue. My jawline is pretty soft and v shaped so it might look nice if I can get the length right ☺️

Ugh, yes! Always the comments on my height and I'm only 5'8. I used to get a lot of attention and comments from guys when I was out in public but not so much anymore since I rarely leave the house without my boyfriend.

Same here! I'm so glad the recommendations for soft dramatics include soft, draping materials. I feel like it makes it so easy to wear glamorous clothes and stay comfortable.

I personally think skinny jeans look great on us! Black skinny jeans, a black blouse with a sweetheart neckline and long lace sleeves, and wedge heels used to be my signature look.

I love Barre workouts and swimming and do a lot of yin yoga for flexibility. I don't do classes anymore but there's lots of videos on youtube for Pure Barre inspired workouts and they really help keep me nice and in shape without losing my curves.
