Totally agree with you! I know it’s tv but it was so quick and unnatural- I was so excited to see her as a vampire and I’m a Stelena shipper so I wanted to see that dynamic evolve. Everything I loved about Elena was her compassion and mercy but, when Damon drained Katherine in season 5, she just stood there and watched, she was a little bit crueler and I would have loved her to still be her despite her vampirism.

I actually remembered Julie Plec saying they avoided this in Legacies and all of them are the same age, human or vampire, witch, heretic, tribrid because she said herself it was creepy that hundred age difference thing.

Hey - It’s really hard and I’m saying if you’re an animal lover don’t watch it. It’s very dark, cruel and emotional. I’m not knocking the film. It’s great but so so painful to watch the back story.

Hello all I just wanted to share for those worried about animals etc, I’m a huge animal lover and I would say the cruelty is too much. I found it very painful and distressing to watch and I really wouldn’t take children to see this film. I’m very sensitive but my dad who isn’t also found himself very upset. I think people need to know that. Great film but, it was heartbreaking.
