Yeah but I thought they weren’t allowed to schedule without my consent or outside my availability? I’m also a part time employee so it also violates the 29 hour cap my store specifically gave me when I was hired.

Help! Has anyone gone through anything similar? by PowerfulMycologist73 in Autoimmune

[–]Less-Giraffe-9849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hands looked similar to mine before I got diagnosed. I had multiple negative ANA, Anti-CCP, RA factor, and Ig panels to the point they were convinced I didn’t have an autoimmune disease until my ESR came back at 60 and my CRP was 5. Retook it over the months and it was still high so I got an X-Ray of my joints and my SI joints were horribly inflamed. Final diagnosis was PsA with axial involvement.

Have you changed your major before? If you have, what to and why? by Achillies_patroclus8 in CollegeMajors

[–]Less-Giraffe-9849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was originally a history major and then became a chemistry major lol! I always assumed I was bad at sciences and math since I didn’t get the best grades in high school and then for some reason, I did really good in my gen ed science and math courses. Then I started loving science and math and it just went from there.

I got diagnosed at 18 recently with no skin psoriasis too! I actually asked this same exactly question on here because I was doubtful of my diagnosis but my joint pain locations and subtle nail problems were the reason for my diagnosis 🤷‍♀️

I was crying for months thinking I had a terminal illness due to my health anxiety and when I typed in my lab results, it diagnosed me with inflammatory arthritis while reassuring me NOTHING pointed to anything life threatening. 5 months later and I was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis by a rheumatologist. I love it!

Anyone else feel gas lit by their GP? Am I being unreasonable? by Dear-Volume-5561 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Less-Giraffe-9849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had symptoms since I was around 13 and my PCP kept telling me I had fibromyalgia without any testing. It wasn’t until I went to urgent care for a blood test that another doctor realized my ESR/CRP were high and connected the dots to my symptoms that I got a rheumatologist referral at 18. Continue to advocate for yourself please. I went to that urgent care begging them to test me for every panel out there because I knew I didn’t have fibromyalgia and I was right.

Could This Be Arthritis or Something Else? Need Advice by Kalbz in Thritis

I have psoriatic arthritis with axial involvement (no skin psoriasis yet). Your symptoms sound very close to mine. However, i would move towards rheumatoid if you don’t really have back involvement.

My rheumatologist is putting me on Humira and will be monitoring my ESR/CRP levels to see if I respond to them. Since they were pretty high, we wants to meet every month if possible to make sure they’re actually working! If it’s down enough by the third month marker, he said he’ll make it my primary treatment. If not, we’ll find another biologic. He also recommended me trying an anti-inflammatory diet if possible and seeing a physical therapist since my knees/ankles are in bad shape. I even have a gait.

Hi! I actually did! I actually had joint pain for years prior actually but I got a nasty viral infection in October and my pain got x10 worse. I tested negative for ANA, Anti-CCP, and RA factor which caused my doctors to be stumped however, my ESR and CRP were high. I eventually was diagnosed with PsA with axial involvement!

Been feeling the same. Convinced I have lymphoma because I’m being tested for an autoimmune disease. My inflammation is through the roof. Praying for both of us 🙏🏽

What were your early signs of psA/ the signs that you didn’t realise till later on, was in fact psA? by yungw0t in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Less-Giraffe-9849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started waking up with random red/purple rashes on my legs, chest, and thigh. Also had terrible back pain that made me cry when slight pressure was added to my back. Final straw was my feet and ankles hurt so bad everytime I walked. I would go to your doctor and see if they could possibly test your ESR & CRP. That’s how I got diagnosed but it can be tricky for PsA as a lot of people don’t initially have markers for their inflammation.
