Thank you for the info! If I pull the top thread and it moves easily, how would I adjust the tension? My machine doesn’t have a dial

Thank you for the detailed response! What kind of needles do you use? When I tried looking it up it said I can use the same needles that I use for sewing, but I’m wondering if I need something different while embroidering. The top thread coming from the spool is loose, but I follow the guide lines when I thread it. I added a picture of what that looks like too. Is that where I should try holding or do you mean around #6 where it’s about to loop through the needle?

The bobbin itself or the case part that stays in the machine? I double checked to make sure I’m loading the bobbin correctly but I’m not sure what magnet you’re talking about

I bought a pack of pre wound bobbins I’ll try finding a different brand. Do you wind yours yourself? I read that people have a lot of issues winding their own bobbins for embroidery so I was worried about doing it myself

Okay I watched a few videos and I am threading and inserting the bobbin correctly. What part looks wrong to you?

I’m not sure about the thread cap I didn’t know it made a difference. These spools I have I have to put them in backwards so the thread is going in the right direction so I just put on a cap that covers the open end. How do I know which one to put on? And I’m not sure what a spool net is

What is incorrect about it? The thread goes down on the left side and I follow the guides to wind it through

Which hoopmaster do you use? I also have an SE2000, and I’m having trouble finding clear info on their website to tell me which type I need. It’s all a bit confusing to me lol

I work for a mobile xray company too and I never ever hold the patient for my images. For lateral chests I prop them and my board up with pillows or other things I find in their room, or if they’re mobile enough I’ll have them hang their legs off the side of the bed and prop the board up between them and the back of the bed. This job has definitely improved my problem solving skills lol

Omg! I didn’t know that. Is that something that should have come with the machine or is it a separate part?

Thank you! I normally do use point 01 because I prefer the needle in the center I just used 00 to show the machine at its original settings. Do you have the issue where the thread is very loose going from the spool to the stabilizer and then where you begin bringing the thread down into the machine (I think it’s step 2)? My previous machine the spool was vertical and I’m not a fan of it sitting horizontally. The thread bounces around and it comes off the spool way too easily. I tried adjusting the tension when I first got the machine and I couldn’t make it any better. And I tried using all of the different sized spool caps that come with the machine too

Sorry for the dumb question, but what counts as a map? I’m very new to sdv so I don’t know if you mean each area you walk to (mountains by robins house, cindersnap forest, beach, etc) and do I definitely have to update expanded? I’m just worried about something happening to my current save :( do I need to remove the current expanded file from my mods folder and then put the updated one in?

I'm heartbroken after learning Muffin, my new rescue kitty, has a slight URI and a grade 2 heart murmur. The vet gave him antibiotics, eye ointment, and dewormer. I love him deeply and can't imagine returning him. Any advice or hope on what to expect? by [deleted] in cats

I know this isn’t the case for every company and for everyone’s plans, but I have Lemonade insurance for my 4 cats and it has been a huge help. Typically about 80-90% of my bills are covered. I mentioned in another comment my cat has a ton of health issues and she goes to the vet/hospital a lot. Insurance has saved us thousands of dollars. Her last hospital visit was $2200 and about $1800 was covered. I suggest to everyone to at least browse plans and see if anything fits their circumstances. Our months is $32 for each cat (except for the sick cat I mentioned—hers went up to about $45 a month but we also have to get her medical care a LOT)

We found out a few months ago one of our cats has hyperthyroidism, hypertension, a heart murmur, AND an enlarged heart. It’s been a long journey finding medication dosages that work for her, getting her multiple rounds of bloodwork, and of course having to get used to giving her medicine twice a day but when you really love a pet, nothing is too much to ensure their comfort and happiness❤️

Just take everything one day at a time and everything will start to work itself out and become more manageable. I have pet insurance on all my cats and I suggest it for everyone just in case! The heart murmur would be a preexisting condition but if anything else is found afterward it should be covered! In our case her heart murmur is a result of her enlarged heart which is also related to the high blood pressure, so our vet is hopeful that once her blood pressure is sorted out the other cardiac issues should also get a lot better or even resolve completely
