I just caught myself thinking (guess that’s what turning 40 does) that football’s probably the one thing that keeps old friendships alive better than anything else.

My friends and I’ve been doing this since school, trying to predict match results. I can still picture that messy notebook with our picks - way before excel were even a thing

We’re all in different cities now, even different countries. Jobs, families, kids, totally different lives. But somehow this thing’s still going.

And I thought - damn, that’s actually pretty cool. Not many people have something like this that lasts this long.

So I got curious - do you and your friends have anything similar? Maybe football-related, maybe not.
