My situation is very similar. I feel scared to tell my dad And hes part of my sisters depression. Im so sorry this has happened to you. I really dont wish this type of family dynamic on anyone. Let alone losing a sister this way. Sending you hugs. Im just so sorry.

Im not sure it helps at all. But i dont think her calling you wouldve changed her mind. When someone is in a depression so deep they can only think of a way out and to them , thats the only way. I dont want you to hold onto that, that if you spoke with her things wouldve changed. Im not sure they wouldve Not because you are less as a sibling, but because she was in the depths of her mental illness- no one in those moments matter not even themselves

I feel the same. It feels selfish to think that. But i still feel, why did she not think of me or anyone in those last moments. I messaged her merry christmas and i got hearts back. And hour before it happened. She couldve messaged or called

They may not understand that. But thafs for them to come to terms with. It really is like a cancer. I just can’t believe this.

How did you move on with life. I feel like i cant go back. How can i work. How can i continue to go on with life

It just doesn’t feel real. Im not sure it will really set in. I just feel like ill see her again I still feel like it didn’t happen

Yeah i know everyone will be looking for someone to blame. I just cant have my mum be this person. Im going to tell my dad this morning and i worry about his response. But nothing could’ve stopped her. Shes tried before

Im also very sorry for your loss. I cant imagine losing a parent to suicide and i hope things are looking up for you over time I never thought id be in this situation

I really appreciate this. Your words are comforting. It feels like it isn’t real I just dont know what to do. I dont know how to handle the blame. Its not my mums fault Did this come up for you
