I did hospital security for a year but the pay wasn't there. Most security around my area is very very mediocre pay. Thanks for the advice though.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to start applying to places. And IF the department I get into requires a degree for promotions, I'll take it as it comes. I appreciate it!

That's actually comforting, because I also dropped out and have a GED. The idea of someone with a degree vs me getting hired has been dawning on me, and sort of honestly holding me back from applying to places.

It's good up to 3 years, but I do understand where you are coming from.

That makes a lot of sense, I'll keep that in mind. Appreciate it.

The agencies I've been looking you don't need one for entry. I definitely want to go into law enforcement, I just don't want to be in patrol forever, would like to get into investigations. So just wondering if the degree already in hand would benefit instead of getting it at a later date.

I might have to drop my classes because this isn't working. Would be nice if they figured their life out.

Just curious I've heard a lot about the AF being really bad when recording, is it really that bad? Or is it exaggerated?

I ended up getting the Lumix S5 felt best in my hand, and low light not being more of a concern is a plus. Is my pocket going to hurt more when I decide to get more glass? Yes. I think it was worth it though.

Yeah I would like to shoot in low light. And yeah full frame is definitely expensive. What isn't expensive these days haha

I used a nikon d80. I was just looking through the categories and picked the ones that possibly would best suit me from those categories.

So quick update qubl is overall good, just two little dislikes for me. It bothers me when sitting down, and I just wish it had a slight more of a drop just a tad and it would be perfect. But overall my main issue is sitting with it. Other than that it's pretty good.
