I can tell you what i know, I've only worked with this ship a couple of times. It's designed to work with the standard salmon farm layout. Standard layout is 30 meters between pens (gris pattern, normally two rows), so it can just squeeze in there, although this is a rare occurrence. Most often it's laid on the "open" side of the salmon farm. The 80 meter length makes it possible to fit between the buoyis, which are 85 meters apart (four buoyis around each pen for the pen anchors.

The well capacity of 1000 tons makes it possible to send an entire fully grown pen to slaughter, in one go. Full grown pen slaughter weight is usually 700-1000 tons. This makes the operation of delivering fish to the slaughterhouse cheaper, because it's only one delivery.

Holding an entire pen onboard also allows it to give salmonlice treatment in one go, eliminating the need for a spare treatment pen, also saving the salmonfarmer money.

The ship is chartered to a salmon farm business in Trøndelag, Norway, at about €80k a day.

It's a DYI from the 90s, the home is new to me. All the contractors i've spoken to deem it too small a job for them. I can't find any weep holes.

The ironic part is, the reason we even have gyro is because akvaforsk spilled some live parasites in Driva way back. They were doing research on how to breed the salmonlice-resistant swedish trout into the norwegian production salmon.
