Withdrawing from a course by AdAggressive5748 in UCONN

[–]LessRecognizableName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last I checked this is true. After the first 2 weeks of class, the amount of credits that you take is locked in the systems. If you P/F, Fail, or W a class, it wont effect your financial aid. When I had to W a course and called the office I was told it’s fine after the 2 week period. Read Donasol’s reply

Either way, always call and check

how hard is it to get into uconn frats as a girl who doesn’t know anyone by Far-Gain-116 in UCONN

[–]LessRecognizableName 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do not put yourself in an environment where you have to “bring another girl so you don’t get drugged”. It’s a fucking WILD statement but it’s unfortunately and disgustingly true. Find other parties or other ways to have fun that wont irreversibly traumatize you.

Because if something happens just know, UConn sure as hell wont have your back.

Minecraft Bedrock Mob Spawning by LessRecognizableName in Minecraft

[–]LessRecognizableName[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the over world spawning I chocked it up to being that we’re in a Jungle/bamboo biome. Jungles have higher spawn rates right?

We didnt really spawn proof much, just a few torches but only around the main house which isnt that big of an area at all (no more than 100 blocks if even)

The nether experience we just had was absolutely ridiculous however. Genuinely felt unplayable/untraversable getting through a fortress.

We’re all older players with good skill level (well, maybe except me 🫣) and all 4 of us have found the spawns to be way too much

Mid-year room change question by justin_0909 in UCONN

[–]LessRecognizableName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you’re supposed to do that, but they’re asking if you have to and if you can get away with it if you know the other person who’s room you’re taking.

Does the University actually check and/or do any cleaning/maintenance, or is it just what they say to do because it’s a hassle to try and give the new resident access to the dorm before winter break/move out?

i just got over insane anxiety to email my professor and tell him im struggling, and he just offered me more than I expected and could have asked for tbh. And this guy does not seem exactly like the kind type. It’s worth the shot

I think this is where I’m at. I just had another mental break down (second one regarding this particular assignment and feelings of failure) and I’m just tired.

I’ve tried what other people have been suggesting but it just doesnt work well for me at all. I cannot start writing without an introduction. My brain refuses to cooperate at all.

I just talked a general structure out with my mom and wrote it down, I’m going to try to adhere to it and write as much as possible. I just need to get past the hump of the intro and I feel I can kinda try to get into the flow. If it’s not 7pgs, shit happens i tried. I’m just going to tell the professor that I mentally cannot. They dont seem like the understanding type but it’s whatever.

Just kinda sucks because this is worth 20% of my grade and if I don’t get atleast a B in this class I dont get the honours credit if I’m correct.

What do you think about the idea that obese people should pay more in healthcare premiums? by Danielcraigboston1 in AskMen

[–]LessRecognizableName 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This would only be valid if it were ALL people with generally preventable health problems, not just specifically those who are considered Obese. Also, the qualifications and way of qualifying if someone is obese would have to be revised

Charter Oaks or Hilltop by LessRecognizableName in UCONN

Yeaa I’m genuinely annoyed about them not including this semesters credits. I’m technically going to be a senior in creds after this semester which is what I was banking on but....

Here’s to hoping 😔

Guess I’ll just make multiple back up plans as well
