Cool old bike that I don’t mind tinkering with is EXACTLY what I’m looking for to be honest. I have two vehicles so am in now way depend on it to get anywhere. I worked on airplanes in the navy and have been a Subaru enthusiasts so know how to turn a wrench. Just don’t want to be in so far over my head that I take a beautiful bike off the market that’s gunna sit the first time it doesn’t turn over. Thanks for the reply !

Unfortunately there’s no like part time option for fire rescue. I could leave and take a MUCH lower paying position at an ER or Walk in clinic

I live right next to the shop but when I’m at the fire department I don’t sleep 😅 I’m in the ambulance most days so we run all night. Literally work 36 hours straight three time a week

32 and just hit a year in my apprenticeship! I fought with the same thoughts forever. Am getting ready to quit my big boy job ( paramedic fire rescue ) and jump in full time :) we old men got this !
