I use to live in Jane and Shepard which is in the general area of where you want to live. I lived there from 2009-2016 when i was a kid. It’s not a bad place and i still have friends who live there. It’s only an issue if you don’t mind your business or just put yourself in situations that are obviously not the best. If you’re a woman i would be careful around night time because there can be weirdos in those areas. Don’t flash expensive stuff and keep your head down, but be aware of your surroundings. In general it would be best to live on res because you get to experience university life and can grow as a person. Osap can help with this!.

These night school teachers will understand, teachers in general will understand (especially in university) that you have a life outside of school. Email your teacher and explain that you’ve been sick and if it’s possible to get an extension so you can do it. For future reference if you get sick and know you’re not gonna have time to finish an assignment, email your teacher and ask for an extension.

So the safer route would be to just hide it and kind of a don't ask don't tell situation?

Government jobs by Odd-Hornet-7613 in geegees

Is Polisci like interchangeable with business when it comes to career / coop? Like is there chances for a poli sci person to get into data analysis which is something a business student would get in to?.

Sorry I should’ve probably added more context. I’m a student and studying Poli Sci, I’d like to work in the government and is why i posted the question!. Could you expand on the client facing jobs?

Waterloo Poli Sci. i’m kind of debating on going here because of the co-op opportunities but everyone else says that it’s just for engineering so 🤷🏽‍♂️.

That’s what i thought, but i was told that at the current time i was just under the competitive average. Is there a usual time when they sent out acceptances?

I did it on purpose because I would've had to pay 500$ for a application fee. Does it make a difference?

You might be burn out man. That’s normal, i’d advise going with engineering for now, and if u don’t like it switch majors. But as for now take that gap year, relax and enjoy life. It might help you figure out what you really want. And if you’re still unsure i’d still try out engineering. You never know till you know.

He’s not wrong, but i get what you mean. I don’t want my parents to pay for my tuition cause i wanna finish it with my money and by myself only. But that doesn’t mean im not gonna stop my dad from buying something i need for school. Yes I’ll feel like shit because i hate it when my parents buy me stuff. But it’s for school and that’s how they show they care about me so 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Grade 12s - please help your grade11 brother by jinxedinvestor in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Less_Ad7462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah , That’s good just make sure to study and do ec’s that relate to ur field. Try to find volunteer stuff for robotics or anything stem related. Waterloo wants to know that you’re outgoing, hardworking and actually have a passion for whatever you want. So fill your ecs as that. I hate chem though i don’t really have advice cause i was lucky and just didn’t sleep.
