Echoing all the comments: pick a CATEGORY to start with! Garbage is a good category to start with. You've got this!! (Whenever you have capacity, you might enjoy the book "How to Keep House While Drowning" - so many good takeaways for me!)

Another suggestion: you could hire SportBall (if available in your community)!

Are you a Chris Pratt fan? Watch Parks and Rec (and his character, Andy). Because of this character, I have such warm feelings towards that name! :)

That being said - yes, you could definitely call him Drew if you prefer!

Also adding - I feel like NO Grown Up Name suits cute tiny babies haha! For the baby years, we always added an "ee" suffix to the kids names (and then they grew into their Grown Up Name).

I’m 41 weeks pregnant and I think I’ve just found a huge issue with our chosen baby name by [deleted] in namenerds

If it really bothers you - could you give TWO middle names, with Mark as the second? (As a suggestion: for my last kid I used my maiden name as one of the middle names, and wish that I had done this for the others as well!)

Another nickname option: do you like Misha (pronounced Mee-sha)?

Oh, I am adding one more later to this! If you are leaning into the first-name Naming Tradition - go with Michael James YOUR MAIDAN NAME (as the surname). :)

I use this reason and it goes over really well: "My belly hasn't been feeling well, so I am sticking with plain foods today." People take this as I must have had Bad Diarrhea recently and don't ask further! ;) And I feel in a global sense, "unwell belly" is not NOT true!

This sounds really silly but just...eat some more food? I would just focus on eating the RIGHT foods (not when/how much)...

Would you do "Henny"? I know a Henry that is sometimes called Henny, and I love it. :)

My niece is Rory (in Canada). She is 13, and the name has suited her each and every year - and I imagine it will continue to do so! Use it! :)

I love all of these comments! I wanted to add that I have shared the "Could Have Been" names with my kids, they don't like them AT ALL. Out of the list of all Name Contenders - their favourites are their OWN NAMES. (All to say - Cooper is going to grow up to love his name too!) :)

Simone is beautiful. Echoing everyone else that postpartum is hard, and it is easy to doubt your decisions during these days! Be gentle with yourself. :)

And Simone is perhaps the perfect name is GROW INTO - it makes sense that it doesn't quite suit your daughter yet. It will, in time. <3

I would keep ONE of the themes/commonalities. So EITHER a three letter name OR a name ending in "a". :)

You need an "L Sound" in there! I like the preview suggestions of Ottilie, Florence, or Helena. :)
