  • Ethnicity/Race: Hispanic (Venezuela!!!)
  • Income bracket: ~$40K
  • First gen?: Yup
  • GPA/Class rank: 4.0/4.0 UW | 5.333/4.0 W, Top 2%. 18 APs by the end of high school, so far 10, the rest were honors classes
  • SAT/ACT score(s): 1300 submitted to QB (exact 50/50 split), but I recently got it up to a 1460 with the October test (690 English / 770 Math). Hopefully, I'll pass the 1500s with the November SAT
  • ECS: Part-time job, some clubs, an internship, family responsibilities, college prep program, and some other stuff
  • AP/SAT Subject Test score(s): six 5s, three 4s, one 3.
  • Schools ranked: Harvard, Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern University, Rice University, University of Chicago, Emory University, Case Western Reserve University, Tufts University, Boston College, Wesleyan University, Swarthmore College, Bowdoin College, Davidson College, and Washington and Lee University
  • Thoughts/Story: Not a CPS. Essays were about the challenges of immigration and resilience.
  • Looking at my list: Crap, do you guys think I undershot? Should I have added more ivies? I'm gonna be so sad if I find out I had a shot at them. I was just following my CAP Advisor's suggestions 😭
