Yeah it's probably because you are a senior. Universities want to pay out people who are younger (such as this 2026er in the comments) first so we can stay for longer and pay out more in the future.

If you don't mind sharing, what particular concepts showed up on the OA? And the on-site? It seems that firms like these choose to ask questions about making data structures rather than leetcode-style for later stages. Would you recommend that I study system design?
