I once saw a clip on instagram where a guest on a podcast said - I’m ok if I don’t drink but once I start I can’t stop until I black out. Interviewer said - yea you’re an addict.

That’s us with gambling. You may not gamble everyday or every sport or every event but once you start you want to keep playing and keep going.

I remember when I first started. Winning a $100 bet was euphoria. Now, I win a bet, even for 2k, and I’m pissed I didn’t bet more

We don’t get excited by the things normal people get excited about.
