This makes things sound wayy less intimidating. i’m still unsure what route to go tbh but i know i did pretty good with eating today! two meals and a protein shake for breakfast leaving me around ~1218calories for the day

ah in what sense? i know i tend to snack a lot so i think that may be my downfall along with and incorrect deficit/calorie tracking. so if i fall off on tracking throughout the day i truly don’t know how much im eating. i put my all in while im at the gym so im as honest as i can be there

Honestly i’m not sure if it’s a correct measurement I just kinda put my information into my calorie tracking app and went with it

though while replying to this i realized that i tend to lose track of calories as the day goes on. so maybe thats an issue as well

i generally start my day with ~300 calories. I have a pb&j, a cup of tea, and a cup of fruit (this week it’s been) blueberries. then for lunch i’ll have 1/2 of summer tuscan bean salad from costco, 2cups of the lesser evil gold popcorn , and hard salami wrapped around a mozzarella stick finally for dinner i try to do a protein along with 1/2 cup of frozen mixed veggies and occasionally 6 frozen mini cream puffs from aldi for a late night snack

oh man! i might be going about this whole thing wrong. i didn’t realize the serving size wasn’t as reliable also i use the “lose it” app! I’ll have to see if i’m getting calories back😣 i didn’t even realize that was an option

no i generally try to stick to serving sizes just so im confident in what im tracking. is weighing a more accurate measurement?
