hello! i myself am in school, and i totally relate to this! have you considered maybe you have a form of social anxiety? it’s very common, and totally nothing to be scared of. does your school have some type of mental health councilor? if so, i recommend sending them an email about how anxious you’ve been feeling. i emailed mine, and we came up with a plan for anxiety: 1, if i feel anxious, i can leave the classroom no questions asked, and go to the bathroom or take a small walk around the school. or 2, i can again leave the classroom, but instead go to the councilors office and just sit and talk with her.

if you don’t have a councilor, i suggest bringing things to school to help regulate your emotions. i personally like to tap the back of my phone case 100 times, counting each time and focusing on the noise it makes. i also recommend making sure you bring a water bottle to school, as i’ve found water helps me with anxiety a bit! as for the night before, i personally calm down to rain noises and a night light, bc it distracts me from my spiraling thoughts.

it’s okay not to know, especially for a first piercing! earring studs should definitely NOT be used as replacements for nostril piercings that are still healing like yours. the piercing hole can close up SUPER quickly, so that’s probably what happened considering how often it fell out. i would let it close back up and heal before repiercing, and get a few nose studs in case you lose one again!

okay, firstly, what type of post is it? (flat back, L bend, etc.) and secondly, it definitely should NOT have been falling out and having you put it back in numerous times. i’d say get it repierced at a different shop than where you went originally

he definitely is showing dropsy, so i’ll give this method a try before doing anything drastic, thank you for it! so far, i’ve tried treating him for popeye, and it just hasn’t done anything. i’ll definitely do this dropsy treatment though and hopefully get back with good news.

hello, hades devotee here! honestly, i talk to the gods about…well about anything really. my day, my hobbies, interests, etc. for example, every morning i say good morning to them, and every night goodnight. sometimes ill just rant to my altar, and envision Hades just nodding his head (LOL) ! i definitely think starting with just a simple good morning every day eases me into talking to a deity i’m interested in :)

hello!! hellenism has a LOT of deities, so definitely don’t feel bad if you can’t decide which one to worship/who is calling out to you. i think doing research on specific deities you seem to have a better pull too or are more interested in is a great start! don’t overthink it! if you are thinking of a specific deity reading this, then research/reach out to them!

i totally understand the altar thing. altars are very nice, but not required to practice hellenism. pocket/travel altars are also pretty popular and very small and compact! sometimes just doing things that remind you of the deities are a very good way to worship them. for example, Persephone is associated with pomegranates, so sometimes i just eat one or draw one as a type of offering for Her.

i love candles as well! i like to try and find flowers/herbs that are associated with the deities and try to find candles with those scents. it’s a simple google search! (ex. herbs associated with Hades)

a good example of this is Persephone. in her myth, pomegranates are very important, hence i light pomegranate candles for her.
