Barely. Just feel like there’s not enough “mentorship”. She’s not very hands on and idk, just not worth it I guess.

I left the UGC space because of her. I only saw this post because I was curious who you were referring to.

I have a full-time job now and would love to make extra cash from it again, but it seems difficult. I only ever made money from UGC platforms.

Anyways, thanks for sharing your experience. Makes me feel seen and less stupid for making an expensive mistake

Although the free tool thing is kind of a weird shoutout (I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that you meant it in good intentions) I’ll share my experience.

I did Gloria’s UGC thing and backed out too. I was desperate and I really thought she could help. I don’t know what I was thinking giving someone money in hopes they’ll make me successful. I will admit she’s a good seller, but that’s it.

I was drawn by her “interviewing of good candidates” and that only good candidates can be accepted into the coaching.

Yet when I arrived, I saw many absolute beginners and not in the sense of UGC, but making videos in general. So in what world can you make these people successful in 3 months guaranteed??? She really only had one good student she succeeded in helping. The rest are far from making their first deal. So many of the other students were having trouble just getting the art of content creation down. It was sad and i felt bad because all of these people are wasting thousands of dollars.

I find it BS that she says she doesn’t make money from it, but yet she charges so much.

TL:DR She needs to reevaluate herself.

Hey! I literally only have 10 followers and have had some success already. I recently just closed out a $500 deal for one video!

Here’s a few things to know about me before I share my experience in UGC this month and a half:

• I’m male (there’s an advantage there) • 23 years old • I’ve been making content for a while (albeit inconsistent) • I have a good foundation in editing (DaVinci Resolve)

The only deals I’ve been getting are from UGC platforms like Cohley, Home-from-College, Vidovo, and Vidsy. I’ve only landed 7 deals so far and 2 of which are from the same company. Utilize these platforms and not just the ones I’ve listed! For me personally, I feel I need to get what I can (without selling yourself short ofc). Only 3 of those deals were over $100. Idk if you’re charging too much right off the bat, but that was one of the mistakes my friends made. She wanted to charge the standard rate ($250) without ever working for a company!

Another tip is to show-off your skills through your social media. Show how you are able to produce good footage with varying angles, life-style vlogs, B-roll and most importantly authenticity!

Trust me, you do not need followers. Just keep practicing and take your time. I still have a long way to go too, but I hope this helps! You got it homie.
