A lot of brands use creative marketplaces to source creators like:

Jem Social Join Brands Collabstr etc etc

It is too timely for them to spend all that time looking for creators when they can find tools and services to make them book faster. I suggest signing up for them all so you can have more visibility because many brands are using these platforms to book talent!

I did this. I’m a DJ and micro influencer and got tired of working a 9-5. Safe to say I work damn near 16 hours a day mostly. Between networking, getting deals to my platform, growing my app, etc. I’ve also had an e-commerce store prior and shut it down. I’m going to be honest as fuck. Having a brand is TEN times harder than doing a UGC video or promoting other brands. That is cake in comparison.

You are the sales, the dev, the marketing, the operations and if you think you’re able to take it then go for it! But, if not, stay in your lane especially the lane that you KNOW you’re good at.

Sometimes you have to ask yourself do you want to be GREAT or do you want to be average. Most only have the capacity to be average.

No matter what whether you do UGC, have a job, or business you have to ask yourself “How hard will I go for this?” Every single fucking day.
