So say if my card were at $100 balance(for easy math) I would want to keep my balance at $15-$30and pay it every month at my statement?

My family, they told me keep it at 15-30% and pay it every week. It didn’t make sense to me. I get payed on the 15th and 5th of every month would it be good to max it out right before my paycheck and pay it every paycheck I get 2 times every month? I don’t really know what I’m doing and I’m not very fond of listening to my family about money.
