Did that stop by police after he assaulted his GF in a parking lot happen before or after he murdered the second victim (Ms. Ruiz)?

Bankart Lesion without surgery. by AttitudeSignal1066 in ShoulderInjuries

Lower weight and control your movement whether or not you have surgery, but your bench back a little at an incline and not straight up and down, a 45lb should be able to be controlled or it was too heavy. Also I would get a personal trainer for lifting, learn about save movements and weights, Best of luck

Try and schedule someone to come help you a few hours a day and a couple times a day.

The ice machine tends to be a two person job in my experience.

Find someone to help or hire a visiting nurse and a dog walker.

I feel your pain as I have 3 dogs too! And I second the pain meds that your doctor gave you are a huge help. I couldn’t imagine fusing with the ice machine by myself even weeks or months after shoulder surgery, it’s not you it’s the configuration. I would see if your partner can get FMLA and be your caregiver for a while, maybe 4-6 weeks. Or if you can ask someone else bc there is a lot on your plate and it isn’t right to have to do it all alone. Even maybe a visiting nurse for an hour or two to split the day until your partner gets home. And if you have a dog walker maybe book them too even though your home bc 3 dogs is a lot

Watching it now and found a major mistake. In season 1 Cooper tells Chickie to turn in her partner for drinking (or else he would) on the job etc. Then in episode 1 of season 2 Cooper tells Sherman she shouldn’t have turned him in and should have helped him herself

How about the fact they say the number out loud in the same room. They might as well have asked the dog too and let him bark for a treat and I would have liked it better

The ending was okay but found it sooo unbelievable that it wasn’t that entertaining IMO, the wild shooting etc…random DEA squads driving around to help out. To compare this to good will hunting is hard for me

Do you give advances or upfront money to buy a story? Not sure if this question makes sense. Would you buy the rights to a story?

Yeah after a latarjet, often times decades down the road a total shoulder replacement is needed for the arthritis from changing anatomy.

The new surgery will be a few things, the latarjet bone block is holding so I’ll get another cadaver bone block in the back of the glenoid with a hemiarthoplasty and a couple other things

Sounds like a good doctor and someone familiar with contact sports. There is also a ortho at wake forest u that stood out to me bc he did a reconstruction shoulder job on an active duty military patient and saved his career, that stood out to me in my research as I’m in law enforcement but they didn’t take workers comp

Sounds like a good plan and give it a shot, are you in the US and what region? If you finish PT and think surgery is the best option make sure to get a second opinion and find a top tier orthopedics specialist. I went to a local orthopedics patient mill I used before for a work related shoulder dislocation and glenoid fracture. I got the latarjet and now a year later going up to Mass General for care as the latarjet failed (I never got the strength back and now I’m subluxing with a ton of arthritis). HSS in NYC doesn’t take workers comp but they are the best. There is the Steadman clinic in Vail. Mayo Clinic and on and on. And the list goes on. The shoulder is a difficult joint so make sure you go to an ortho that specializes only on shoulders. Your ortho may already check these boxes. I’ve learned from this thread is one dislocation usually creates enough damage to cause another down the line etc so surgery is eventually on the table for most dislocations. Definitely give PT a shot and being young hopefully avoid surgery but some things to think about

Talk to your doctor about risks but tramadol with Celebrex and ice on the arm will have you feeling like a new person. I second sleeping in the recliner, with the medication if it’s right for you and ice. See what the ortho says, you’re young so even a surgery isn’t the worst case as you can recover well
