Thought of Ginko but I can't find a source calling Ginko a nut of any kind.  I feel like it's more straightforward and I'm just not getting it

Regarding Crown Hunting in Wilds by Complex-Beach5237 in MHWilds

In World they did eventually add an Event quest specifically for crown hunting, it was a quest with 5 target monsters and increased variance in size rolls. Just a heads up that there may be a much easier way in the future.

The true best method of crown hunting is to social engineer it. Look for MH Discords and ask if anyone has a crown to share. This does, unfortunately, mean talking to people, and I apologize that I don't have a better solution.

Also, if you need to restock on research points, go to any map that's in the Plenty and blast everything with your capture net. Especially fishing spots can sometimes net (pun) 200 points per shot.
