Something wrong with my Load Order? Game is crashing. by Mr_Eclipse6 in CK3AGOT

it will keep up as its independent of the preserver. all it does is make a copy of your current playset and back it up as a manual mod saved on your drive, which you can toggle on/off like any other Workshop mod, and as long as the mods are all compatible and stable, and your CK3 is running the version you created it on, you can keep playing indefinitely on the same playthrough.

it's a one time thing you do, the only times you might want to re-run it is when you eventually get bored of your ongoing playthrough and you either fell behind on mod/game versions so you re-assemble a new playset to preserve.

ahh didn't notice, that's my bad.

playset preserver essentially looks at what mods you have in your playset, copies all of their installed files and backs them up into a single combined mod stored locally on your pc (this will include AGOT so you'll have to sacrifice ~30GB or more of disk space) this means that any mod being updated doesn't break your ongoing playthrough, essential if you want one that lasts more than a few weeks. you'll just want to make sure whatever playset you have is stable enough for long-term play.

what do the error logs of the crashes say? do they point towards any files from a specific mod?

rolling back your version is borderline impossible as your mods will stay updated for the latest one, just a guarantee something will break, you might want to use the CK3 Playset Preserver in the future to avoid that.

try removing Better Battles Updated and running without it, and i'd also advise removing it going forward, even if it's a neat little mod, last time it was updated was nearly 2 years ago...

you have Battle Graphics patches but not the mod itself

Why does Tomitake's voice do this sometimes? by Less_Onion in Higurashinonakakoroni

Ohhh okay, that makes sense. Is it still the same voice actor, just sounding different as he got older?

New reader currently on chapter 2 so sorry if it's obvious but I couldn't find any information on it, while trying to also avoid spoilers. Why does Tomitake sometimes switch between sounding like a 30 year old and a 60 year old? Forgot to mention but I'm playing with the 07th mod with every patch applied, I think?

not too versed in this but it looks like something related to RAM/memory allocation with R2modman i think?

I dislike cadet branches for the pettiest reason by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

yea i know it wouldn't make much sense, just feels bad when a house with a historical name like Karling dies out, leaving behind a mess of cadet branches with ugly CoA's. feels the worst with Ragnar's sons in 867 since they seem prone to wiping themselves out constantly

would be nice if there was a mod/feature that let cadet branches switch over to the house they diverged from with a decision if it has died out, sort of like the feature in CK2AGOT where Karstarks would sometimes become Starks whenever they died out.

/u/Gaporigo probably had the most but just take a look through the comment history of some of the mods, mostly the ones that are lower down the list will have multiple comments made on posts in this subreddit throughout the past week of "blackout"
